Nearly half of REALTORS\u00ae also believe the metaverse will have ramifications for real estate. Thirty-five percent say blockchain technology will \u201cdefinitely\u201d or \u201cprobably\u201d have an impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The three tools REALTORS\u00ae say they currently use most in their business are e-signatures (79%), lockboxes (67%) and MLS apps and technology (67%), the survey shows. REALTORS\u00ae also say social media delivers the highest number of quality leads\u2014even more than their CRM systems, digital ad campaigns or the MLS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.nar.realtor\/sites\/default\/files\/styles\/inline_paragraph_image\/public\/nartechsurvey_impactfultech.png?itok=SgpBzHxC\" alt=\"NAR chart of technology impact on real estate\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s clear that technology plays a key role in our members\u2019 lives and businesses,\u201d says NAR CEO Bob Goldberg, noting the association\u2019s efforts to keep REALTORS\u00ae on the cutting edge of real estate innovation. This year, NAR\u2019s Innovation, Opportunity &amp; Investment (iOi) Summit, for example, addressed how real estate pros can help tech developers improve their products. NAR also supports up-and-coming innovations in the real estate space through its REACH tech accelerator program. \u201cNAR has its eyes on the future,\u201d Goldberg says. \u201cBy partnering with innovation leaders and empowering REALTORS\u00ae with the latest technology, we\u2019re driving the future of real estate and helping our members build staying power.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Much Do REALTORS\u00ae Spend on Tech?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>With technology an essential part of real estate pros\u2019 toolbox, many are spending more money to purchase and use solutions. About one in three REALTORS\u00ae say they spend between $50 to $250 per month in costs related to technology, while 19% say they spend more than $500 per month, according to the survey. The majority of those expenditures are for lead generation tools. The following chart shows how much REALTORS\u00ae are spending monthly on lead generation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.nar.realtor\/sites\/default\/files\/styles\/inline_paragraph_image\/public\/nartechsurvey_leadgenspend.png?itok=F7opyf52\" alt=\"NAR chart on how much REALTORS spend on lead generation tech\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Survey respondents say that of the tech tools their brokerage provides, e-signatures, lockbox and showing technology, and transaction management systems are the most valuable.
