Real estate professional who received a PPP loan should complete and submit the application,\u00a0which was released Friday, to their PPP lender.<\/p>\n<p>The program was created through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nar.realtor\/political-advocacy\/coronavirus-sba-cares-act-faqs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-di-id=\"di-id-9ce4eb5c-59e89bf3\">CARES Act<\/a> to provide forgivable loans to eligible small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic. The PPP is a way to offer <a href=\"https:\/\/magazine.realtor\/news-and-commentary\/feature\/article\/2020\/04\/two-winning-paths-to-a-ppp-loan\" data-di-id=\"di-id-cace0ea9-39b29162\">financial aid to small businesses<\/a> and incentivize them to keep employees on their payrolls.
