In the near term, we expect the housing market to continue to improve from both a sales and price perspective.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Freddie Mac reports the following national averages with mortgage rates for the week ending June 27:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>30-year fixed-rate mortgages: averaged 3.73%, with an average 0.5 point, falling from last week\u2019s 3.84% average. Last year at this time, 30-year rates averaged 4.55%<\/li>\n<li>15-year fixed-rate mortgages: averaged 3.16%, with an average 0.5 point, falling from last week\u2019s 3.25% average. A year ago, 15-year rates averaged 4.04%.<\/li>\n<li>5-year hybrid adjustable-rate mortgages: averaged 3.39%, with an average 0.4 point, falling from last week\u2019s 3.48% average.
