Otherwise, you risk falling into the trap of becoming a lazy marketer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>This is what always has worked.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>No two clients or listings will ever be exactly the same, so don\u2019t treat them as such. You may instantly want to jump in autopilot mode for listing a home, but you may be missing a big marketing piece if you don\u2019t consider each home through a different lens. Be willing to explore other alternatives and you may even get better results.<\/p>\n<p><strong>I can\u2019t afford to try that.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You\u2019re likely to be on a budget with your marketing. But make room for experimentation. \u201cYou don\u2019t have to have a massive budget to try a \u2018sample-sized\u2019 version of a strategy,\u201d writes Forbes columnist Jayson DeMers. \u201cThere are plenty of marketing strategies that can be executed with a simple investment of time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>I don\u2019t have time to learn that.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>New technology can breed skeptics.
