Last year at this time, 30-year rates averaged 4.52%.<\/li>\n<li>15-year fixed-rate mortgages: averaged 3.06%, with an average 0.5 point, rising from last week\u2019s 3.03% average. A year ago, 15-year rates averaged 3.97%.<\/li>\n<li>5-year hybrid adjustable-rate mortgages: averaged 3.31%, with an average 0.4 point, dropping from last week\u2019s 3.32% average.
